I’m not having a great start to my day. I can never get the bathroom digital scales to work for me and they keep telling me I’m a kilo overweight. I just don’t trust them. I know I’ve been eating a lot of French bread and pastries but I’ve been doing a lot of dog walking and climbing stairs in between.
I tried to apply hair mousse and managed to spray it everywhere but on my hair. There was such a mess, blobs of white stuff expanding all over the place. I couldn’t find my usual brand at the supermarket so I was trying out a different one. How hard is it to squirt mousse out of a can?
Trying to unscrew something later didn’t work for me either, regardless of the fact that I applied the lefty loosey and righty tighty principle. Turned out it was a push-on connection.
Is it because I’m blonde, left-handed or just getting senile?
(I’ve just approached Rick with his grooming brush and he’s gone to hide under a chair.)
I have similar days! I'm neither blond or left-handed.
ReplyDeletePoor Rick, he doesn't trust you after that!

Sometimes it just feels like everything is difficult.
DeleteWhy such a strange photograph?
ReplyDeleteIt's just the can of mousse.
DeleteI know that, but can't you see that the beam and the arm look odd?
DeleteIt was an odd morning, nothing worked for me!
DeleteWhy didn't you just stand it on a flat surface to photograph it? Weird.
DeleteHow do they get those mice in the cans and why put mouse on your hair anyway? If I were you I would stick with Brylcreem.
ReplyDeleteI find that mice in my hair add volume.
DeleteFrom my experience:
ReplyDeleteYou should learn to trust the scales. Walking and climbing are very beneficial for our general health, but do very little for our weight.
If you wish to lose and maintain the right weight you should focus on nutrition. Plan your daily diet so that it doesn't exceed 1300 calories per day. Good Luck!
Easier said than done IMHO!
DeleteIs 'DUTA' short for 'KILLJOY'?
DeleteI don't trust the scales because I can never get them to calibrate properly!
DeleteWhen 'blonde' Monty was still with us, all the local birds used his brushings to line their nests. Now with 'Black' Bok we can't really tell if his hair is being used or not.
ReplyDeleteBlonde nests - I like that!
DeleteNot just a 'bad hair day' ! I have days like this too.
ReplyDeleteSometimes everything goes wrong at the same time.
