Autumnal Garden

pink geranium

Another misty and drizzly morning but the skies cleared after lunch so we took Rick for a long walk in the countryside. It was a bit muddy underfoot but very warm with the bonus of no flies or wasps.  When we got home I took a few photos of the garden, it is all looking very autumnal.

  1. It must be hard for Rick to see properly with that hair flopping around his eyes. You could carefully trim away the hair with some scissors or tie it up with some little ribbons.

    1. He will go the doggy parlour when we get back to the UK, in the meantime I do trim his fringe from time to time.

  2. Shabby but chic! Rick looks like Buddy in this photo.

    1. There is a similarity, I guess that's why I fell for him.

  4. I presume Yorkshire Pudding hails from Yorkshire where their own Terriers are born with pink bows in their hair. Let this never happen to proper dogs. Rick looks just fine as he is; in fact I would train him to bite any hand that holds scissors!

    1. Definitely no ribbons but I do have to trim his fringe so that he can see.

  5. Nice. I really like the red Virginia Creeper. It always adds such a pop of colour. -Jenn
