Nobody gets through this door without me (you'll probably break your neck falling over the shoes first) |

Beynac - nice view but I'd rather sniff the stones |
I don't like heights |
I really don't like heights, put me down |
Can we stay home today? |
You're going to have to change the title of your blog to "Rick Here There and Everywhere"...
ReplyDelete"Sue was fussing over me as usual. She smells of posh French perfume. I let her rub my belly in the hope that I might get a bone later on. Then Paul came to take me for another walk in the woods. He threw a stick for me to fetch but it stank of bird shit. No way Jose! Instead, I chased after a young rabbit and I could hear him far behind me shouting - Rick! Rick! Come back you little bastard!"
My daughters are giggling a lot over this comment. I don't know why.
DeleteWhen I was reading the captions to the photos I thought it was meant to be you speaking until I got to the "put me down" one and I looked to see if Paul was holding you above the ramparts. Then the penny dropped.. oh it's Rick speaking...
ReplyDelete(Why is the print so small?)
I don't know why the print is small, I've asked Rick to make it a bit bigger.
DeleteYou certainly understand that dog.
ReplyDeleteHe is easy to read.
DeleteThe eyes have it in that last photograph!
ReplyDeleteHe knows how to pull the heart strings.
DeleteHilarious!! I love your sense of humour, Sue!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris, he's a funny dog.
DeleteLady Magnon was scouring the pages of the Phoenix Assoc' (dog shelter) yesterday. She came across several mini-Bok puppies, and I had to restrain her! If she saw a Rick look-alike, there'd be no holding her back.
ReplyDeleteWe get regular FB posts from the ferme des rescapes (just up the road) and the Cahors refuge, it breaks my heart. I want to adopt them all!
DeleteIt's their Book Sale @ Campsegret today, north up the N21 from Bergerac A/P.
