Sarah outside l'hotel Edward 1er |
Dinner last night at the Restaurant Eléonore was a delight. The setting was elegant and quintessential French chateau, the clientele in the restaurant was mainly Dutch and British. Arjan and Marije, the Dutch owners, gave us a warm welcome. It was all very posh and we were on our best behaviour. I will let the photos do the talking.

What a lovely family evening. Very special. I hope you clouted the fellow who photo-bombed the picture of you and Kat.
ReplyDeleteThat was our lovely host, Arjan.
DeleteHow very elegant, your daughters are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteWhat a lovely family! I see where your beautiful daughters take after; there is bit of both parents.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria xx
It's great to see them together again.
DeleteAll looks delicious (and that includes the people as well!)
ReplyDeleteThe food was exquisite.
DeleteA lovely evening to remember.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very special occasion for us.
DeleteVery chic; I doubt if they'd let me past the front door.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they would if you were wearing your best ratting clothes.
DeleteLovely to be out together and dressed up and something to remember. Lovely photos. Now you must do the same at a family café type place without frills where you take your own plonk and have goose and Miss Vegan can have cabbage without the goose and drink lots of plonk while she watches you eat and takes photos.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do that but I can't bring myself to make Miss Vegan eat a bowl of cabbage.
DeleteLook at you lovely people! Very posh place indeed. I used to feel very intimidated by meals like that, but now don't care if I don't know which fork, or how to tackle the decorative sprigs of vegetation. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteIt was a bit posh but very relaxed too. The food tasted amazing and they had gone to a lot of effort to cater for my vegan daughter. It was well worth the expense.
