Some friends joined us for lunch on
the terrace today (chilled tomato soup followed by courgette pasta). It was a jolly affair and a very agreeable
way to spend a few hours.
“I like your hair,” said Gail
returning to the table after a visit to the bathroom.
“Why thank you,” I replied, gently
patting my coiffure into place.
“It looks good in that frame.”
Oh, that hare!
Oh dear. I hope you all laughed. That's the sort of thing that would happen to me.
ReplyDeleteI hid my confusion at the time but Paul and I giggled about it afterwards.
Delete:o) At least she didn't rabbit on about it...
ReplyDeleteVery bunny.
DeleteHaha! :)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteWeaver will love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm rather partial to the odd hare.
DeleteI like your hair/hare too.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYou're making me feel guilty now. Civet de Lievre et al.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I couldn't eat one!
Delete'ear!, 'ear!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about animals in frames where bits of them are 'missing'? I have an elephant sans a bit of trunk and I love him all the more.
I painted him too big and ran out of paper!
