Car Boot Horrors

This morning we went to a vide grenier (car boot).  This particular local event used to be a favourite of mine but it doesn’t seem to be so good these days – too many dealers selling absolute tat. Or perhaps I’m getting older and more discerning.

It was fun to wander around but some of the wares on offer would give me nightmares.

Non, je ne regrette rien

I thought this guy would look good on my terrace

looks better than I did at 49 years old

words fail me

aaah!

time to go home

  3. I went to buy my week's bread from Frayssinet, and had planned to stop on my way back. I couldn't find a parking space, so didn't bother.

    1. Parking was manic, they've closed the top field.

    1. We used to have one like that in the attic, it came out at Hallowe'en to scare the kids. We were wicked parents!

    2. I was just thinking how familiar that head looked! Dangling a severed head from the roof is not 'scaring' the kids it's terrifying them for the next 2 weeks.

  5. The wink of that doll is awful. I did buy a pair of blue and white china candlesticks at our local one Sunday am. Why? ? ?

  6. Oh' I would love to have those Gnomes either side of my front door, it would give the passing farmers something to talk about in the pub!
