Art and Craft

Today we went to the local Art and Craft exhibition in Besse.  The show is set up in the grounds around the church and it is the prettiest of settings.

It was extremely hot so so the trees in the garden offered welcome shade for the exhibitors.

It was fun to look around the show but I always come away from these events feeling disappointed that I wasn't remotely tempted to buy anything.

  1. On Saturday I wanted to visit the new artisan shop on the square in V du Pd (next to the antique shop). But being market day, and still not 10am, it was of course closed. It probably would have been similar stuff to Besse, but I would liked to have seen for myself. V du P's busiest hour or two of the week, and they can't be bothered to open.... amazing.

    1. That happens a lot (you can't get a cup of coffee in Bonaguil before 10.00 a.m.). I must remember to check it out next time I'm in town.

  2. Those giant coloured pencils are rather good, I suspect that they have been done before though.
