This afternoon I went into Lincoln for my second thyroid biopsy. It wasn't particularly pleasant so afterwards I dragged Paul to the shops. I'm not particularly into Christmas decorations but I wanted something special for our new home. An exquisite crystal bauble or a handmade tree ornament perhaps. This is what I bought...
Before you scoff I would add that he has extendable legs. I'm not sure why.
I hope Rick isn't going to be jealous.
ReplyDeleteHe's ignored him so far.
DeleteHowya gonna hang that up???
ReplyDeleteI won't hang him up - just plonk him on top of the tree perhaps!
DeleteI think it was a fab choice.
ReplyDeleteIt was love at first sight.
DeleteTrained to wear house slippers, what a good boy.
ReplyDeleteHe has been very well behaved so far.
DeleteHmm - it seems to me that Lincolnshire is rubbing off on you already - not a lot of French chic there, although he is rather sweet. I wonder what Master Rick thinks to him.
ReplyDeleteI love Lincolnshire!
DeleteThe legs extend so that you don't have to bend down too far to kiss him good night!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I like that. I shall play with his legs tomorrow.
DeleteHe is gorgeous and looks quite large next to the fireplace.
ReplyDeleteYes, he's almost as big as Rick.
DeleteIf you stuck antlers on Rick's head he would look just the same.
ReplyDeleteThere is a distinct similarity.
DeleteHe's so cute, I have one quite similar to him!
ReplyDeleteI might buy him some sunglasses and shorts so I can have him out all year.
DeleteHe's adorable! I hope the thyroid biopsy comes back negative!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I think it will be okay but it would be nice to know for sure.
DeleteHe is! I couldn't resist him.
ReplyDeleteNora Batty stockings!
ReplyDeleteHaha, that's funny!
DeleteHe should make you laugh every time you see him !!
ReplyDeleteHe certainly makes me smile.
DeleteI really shouldn't laugh but it was the intro that got me, I guess I should tell you about my 7 foot tall, black & white, wooden, Christmas Giraffe. He stands in the corner of my living room with a candy cane hanging from one antler. I loved the stupid thing the moment I saw it standing with it's family of smaller giraffes . . . . but I had to take the tallest one home.
ReplyDeleteLike me, a taste for the ridiculous!
