Time
We went to Sirius Cove yesterday afternoon, probably our last visit there
before we leave on Wednesday. It seems
like only yesterday that Buddy took us to the cove to show us his favourite
playground. He had fun today paddling in
the shallows and playing with the other dogs.
This weekend it feels like time is slipping through my fingers like
sand. Wednesday is going to hurt.
You've gone all poetic.
ReplyDeleteNot like me at all! Must have been all the sand in my shoes when I got home.
DeleteYou've had a wonderful time that's for certain. I'm sure Buddy will miss you though, perhaps you could sneak him out in your suitcase.
ReplyDeleteI think Sarah is looking forward to re-claiming her dog. I've been a bit possessive.
DeleteI hope you have Ozzie jumpers plus Uggs in your baggage to help ease you through winter ?
ReplyDeletePlenty of warm clothes at home in the UK waiting for me but it will be a bit of a shock when we first get off that plane.
DeleteAre you not tempted to stay? All of my lot who visit end-up either staying or wanting to. You'll have a temperature shock when you return; it's been quite cold here in the mornings, and I think the UK has had snow.
ReplyDeleteAustralia is a great place to visit but for me it's not home. Sydney is definitely a city for young people.
DeleteCompletely agree with you that Sydney is a great place to visit but wouldn't want to live there ...and definitely for the young ones. So busy too. We have a much slower and more casual pace in Queensland . Brisbane is a very nice city and very modern but I love the old and all the tradition you see in Europe and the UK.
DeleteThat beach looks lovely. I hope you have a good trip home. Great hat, by the way! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThanks Jenn.
