Just a couple of signs around the house to indicate that Kat is back home...
she loves her new bedroom |

I had a brief go on the turbo trainer but I needed a step ladder to get on the bike.
To be fair Kat has tidied her room since I took this photo.
Rick doesn't wait for me anymore to get up in the morning, he is straight out of the bedroom like a rocket and then sits outside Kat's door until she gets up.
Happy times!
The first photo is evidence of Kat's strict military training. Everything in its place. Funny how Rick loves his sister more than his mum and dad.
ReplyDeleteShe hasn't inherited my OCD.
DeleteHappy times in Lincs with Kat home. Sounds like Rick is overjoyed to have Kat home, just as you told us he would be. That's a very nice exercise bike, especially good on rainy day when you want a bit of a workout. Can the seat be lowered a bit?
ReplyDeleteThe bike is Kat's racing cycle; the back wheel is removed and attached to the turbo trainer that is linked to a computer and screen etc. She brought the kit back with her to use. Paul wants one now!
DeleteLove the bike, now I want one too.
DeleteLovely to think of Rick as he is now in what I still think of as his new home with his new family even though it has been a while now. X
ReplyDeleteWe've had him four years now. We adopted him just after we got back from our tour of Spain. He was four years old and is now eight years old. Scary how quickly time passes.
DeleteI have lived his time with you. X
DeleteI like the Pine Marten - actually we have one very similar! Good taste!
ReplyDeleteHe is Jeremiah and belongs to Kat.

ReplyDeleteSorry, had second thoughts. The stationary bike is nifty - good for rainy days.
ReplyDeleteIt's a clever piece of kit, any bike can be attached to it. Kat's bike has a wicked saddle.
DeleteSounds like everyone is happy; including Rick.
ReplyDeleteHe loves having Kat at home.
DeleteNo way could I get on to a bike with a cross bar - even using a step ladder! I've just given my exercise bike away. It was so uncomfortable to sit on, and ended up rarely being used, so a rather ill considered purchase. In future, when I'm desperate for punishing exercise, I'll take the dog out and we'll walk up a few of the very steep hills round here!
ReplyDeletePaul is considering buying the turbo trainer so that we can continue riding during the winter months. At the moment we are losing all the form we build up during the summer. We can attach our own cycles (with comfy saddle) to the machine. I am not totally convinced yet!
