Good luck - according to the Sunday papers we are due an Indian Summer starting tomorrow - fingers crossed for us all.
An Indian Summer would be marvellous.
So far, so good. Tomorrow should go as smoothly. Keep an eye on the trailer.
The trailer is behaving perfectly.
Wow, that all happened so quickly.
I'm still in shock.
Check for illegal immigrants before you set off.
No room for any stowaways. Only Rick.
So the trailer passed the gate.
With an inch or two to spare. It was tight!
Hope it’s going well, soon be there
Thanks Jenny.
I hope that the duct tape and webbing was handy to repack after UK Customs, plus Rick's and The Teddies' passports were in order.
Straight through customs, I think it was too early for them! Such a relief not to have to unpack the trailer.
The wing mirror is for looking back but it's much smaller than the car's windscreen which is for looking forward. I wish you and Paul all the best as you begin your new life in Lincolnshire.
Thank you Mr Pudding.
We have blue skies and sunshine to welcome you - it is chilly, though, sorry! Welcome to Lincolnshire.
Yes, it is chilly!
Safe travels. The hard part of leaving the French house is over, now onwards to your new bungalow.
Thanks Cheryl.
France today - lincolnshire tomorrow. Welcome.
Thank you Pat.
Hopefully it is Lincolnshire today.
It was, and the sun was shining.
Bed socks last night I bet, Sue!
The bed socks haven't arrived yet but yes, I wish I'd had them with me.
