Rick is sulking.
people, Paul and Kat, have gone out and left him at home with me.
I have tried to cheer him up by getting him
to pose in a silly Christmas hat.
absolutely refuses to smile or lift his ears for me.
Perhaps he needs more sherry and mince pies.
Give Rick some credence he knows that your christmas is false and just a human idea for a midwinter binge :-)ReplyDelete
He's right, we've never pretended otherwise!Delete
He may well be pining for Diane - his French sweetheart. She's a real bitch!ReplyDelete
Diane's an old lady, he prefers the young redhead, Joy.Delete
Will that be next year's Christmas card?ReplyDelete
I need to get a picture of him smiling with his ears up - and the hat!Delete
Look at that cutie! What a good looking boy. The expression on his face tells me all I need to know about how he feels about that hat!ReplyDelete
I don't actually approve of dressing animals up but I couldn't resist!Delete
He looks good, but not happy, my cat would throw a hissy fit if I put a hat on her.ReplyDelete
He definitely wasn't happy.Delete
Haha... even without the smile he's adorable .ReplyDelete
Greetings Maria x
He is! (He only terrorised two people on our walk today...)Delete
Maybe a little foodie treat is called for?ReplyDelete
I have to be very careful with foodie treats as he has a delicate tum. He settled for a cuddle on my lap.Delete
He's obviously missing his native France.ReplyDelete
Ha-ha, yes! He was a happy boy again when his 'pack' came home.Delete
Poor Rick - he really doesn't look very happy. Next year he'll remember you made him wear that hat, and he'll run and hide when the decorations come out !ReplyDelete
I don't think he really minded the hat, he was just miserable because his beloved master and Kat had left him behind.Delete
