Room Makeover

Another project completed.  The attic room has been transformed into the loft gym!

I’m delighted with the result, it has gone from being a dusty, storage room to a stylish exercise studio.

Later in the year it will be fitted out with a Zwift cycling trainer.  The television will be linked to the trainer but if I don’t feel like cycling I can just pretend and sit back and watch Escape to the Country!

  1. You've both done a marvellous job. That wallpaper looks remarkably realistic, and the whole room has turned out very well indeed.
Just one question - what did you do with all the things you had stored up there before the makeover - or are they the next project!

    1. Most of the bags belong to Kat and they are now stored in the room that is situated behind that door! Fortunately the attic space is quite extensive.

    1. They were very inexpensive but I think they look good against the brick.

  3. Beautifully done! I noticed skylights and the natural light streaming in is great as well.

    1. It's a nice room, too good to just be a storage space.

  4. Where did you enrol for your 'Tidiness Lessons'? I need to learn, and so does Lady M.

  6. Well done! Since you moved in you and Paul have really transformed your property. What is next on the agenda? How about persuading Paul to hire a JCB digger and dig a hole for your swimming pool?

  7. Incredible transformation. Like the last sentence though - it just adds a touch of down to earthness.

    1. Paul is keen to keep cycling through the winter months, me less so!

  8. The ladder would scare me so I would never go up there.
