Garden Progress

Hebe

Courgette
Now that we have some better weather we are able to get outside again and continue work on the garden.  The veggie patch is doing well and we are harvesting new potatoes, broad beans, French beans, beetroot and lettuce.  The courgettes will be ready for picking in a day or two.  It's easy to forget what a wilderness the garden was when we arrived.  Here are some before and after photos...

  3. The before and after look good if not a trifle misleading, notably the top two. But a lot has been done to get it to your way and no doubt enhanced the value of the property. Trės bonne.

  9. It's all looking very good. I shall pick our first Broad Beans tomorrow, and we had some Mangetout Peas last night. It won't be long before we have a glut.

  12. Lovely, Sue - and Paul - I love the Mediterranean touch with the pebbles/gravel. Makes life so much easier. The sun loungers add a definite holiday air !
