My new diary arrived in the post this morning and I am delighted with it. I love the doggy humour of Rupert Fawcett (he does cats too).
The week to view is my preferred format, there is plenty of blank space to scribble and the book is small enough to fit nicely into a handbag. I shall try and resist looking ahead too far so the cartoons will give me a fresh smile each week.
Now, where is my pen.
Looks great, good way to start the day.
ReplyDeleteThe cartoons make me laugh.
DeleteThat's a very pretty diary! Mine is boring, I get it for "free" from my insurance company.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
I used to buy my diaries from Charity Shops but they seemed to get smaller and flimsier every year. Decided to get something different this year.
DeleteDitto on Maria's boring diary. Mine is from my pension fund. I haven't heard of Rupert Fawcett - must look for him in the book store.
ReplyDeleteHis drawings are very funny.
DeleteI like a plain diary to decorate myself if I feel so inclined. The cartoons look good as cartoons though.
ReplyDeleteYou should have a look at his cat stuff. Lots of blank pages in my diaries for me to doodle.
DeleteYes, I like his cat ones. He is very funny. I understand about the blank pages too but I am a bit anal about diaries!
DeleteI use the calendar that comes with Windows 10. I like that final cartoon, it rings true!
ReplyDeleteSo does Paul but I just can't get on with electronic diaries.
DeleteThey aren't very practical if you want to carry a diary round in your handbag !
DeleteI had his book "Off the Leash", as a gift from friends, for my birthday this year. Like you, I've rationed myself to a couple of pages a day, so that I have something I know will make me laugh, to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteA friend has his cat book, and even for non cat lovers, it's hilarious.
He definitely knows his cats and dogs.
