The kids have clearly briefed their friends to keep an eye on us while they are away and today we met up with Stuart, his wife Sarah and their 18 month daughter Isla at a street festival in Crows Nest, a suburb of Sydney. It was fun wandering around the different craft and trade stalls and we had a tasty lunch of tacos and lager in a typical Australian bar. Isla was absolutely enchanting.
I’ll leave you with some photos of Crows Nest.

ReplyDeleteA very common sight in the city suburbs. I guess one day they'll get round to putting them underground.
DeleteLovely photographs - and the weather looks warm which is more than can be said for here.
ReplyDeleteTemperatures up and down like a yo-yo at the moment.
DeleteThe big orange pot in Photo 1 looks like a local Cassoule. Perhaps the potter came from Castelnaudary.
