The kids are back home and they decided to fight their jet lag by taking us for a walk in the park followed by lunch. We went to Centennial Park, a massive park in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, where Buddy was able to run free. Wandering through the bush it was easy to forget you were so close to the city.
Lunch was at Soul Burger where I had my first vegan cheese burger. I have to admit it was delicious.
A quiet evening at home? No such luck. We are off to a dog friendly bar to meet friends.
The weather looked great.
ReplyDeleteClear blue sky but a bit cool here for this time of year.
DeleteA bit different from your typical English park, good that Buddy could have a good run though. Didn't their three weeks go fast - I expect they had a lot of tales to tell.
ReplyDeleteIt did go fast. They certainly had some adventures in India.
DeleteAs Elaine mentions, three weeks went fast! I can only imagine Buddy's react when he met up with mommy and daddy again!
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
Buddy's reaction...the "tion", got swallowed up during publish!

He bounced around like a crazy dog, he was very excited.
DeleteThat looks a gorgeous walk.
ReplyDeleteIt's quite spectacular, lots of space.
DeleteThe Baton of Responsibility has been passed on!
ReplyDeleteNot exactly, looks like he's staying at home with us today!
DeleteI think that's the park that Bill Bryson got lost in in his travel book "Down Under". Blundering through the undergrowth - it was very funny.
ReplyDeleteOh I think I remember that, wasn't it where he ended up in someone's back garden? He does make me laugh.
DeleteLucky the weather is so cool for this time of year so a walk like this is comfortable. Remarkably cool here in Brissy too especially compared to last year when a heat wave and temperatures around 40 degrees made it very unpleasant. your holiday seems to be going along nicely.
ReplyDeleteYes it is nice for walking around. Hope it warms up a bit more soon so we can hit the beach before we return to the UK.
