steam inhalation to clear my sinuses |
It’s Groundhog Day today. Comes round every year, just like my birthday.
Actually, birthday celebrations have been postponed due to my cold (although Paul did take me out to the car wash earlier today). I treated myself to a steam inhalation earlier to try and clear my sinuses; I think I added too much Olbas oil because it nearly blew my head off.
I will try and force myself to eat some smoked salmon and sushi for lunch, accompanied by a chilled glass of prosecco.
I had a special card from Buddy, it made me chuckle.
Paul took you to the carwash? Hell - that guy really knows how to treat his woman! No expense spared.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, it was a foam wash too!
DeleteSinus infections! I know them well. I hope yours clears soon! Funny Buddy card - someone is very creative! -Jenn
ReplyDeleteThe inhalation (or it might be the alcohol) seems to have worked well.
DeleteHappy Birthday Sue. Eat plenty of oranges, at least one a day and the sinus problem will disappear. It really works.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm going to eat tons of oranges in Spain.
DeleteBut you need to be doing it NOW.
DeleteI'll send Paul out to get me some. I just want to be able to breathe and my head to stop aching!
DeleteHappy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteYorkshire Pudding beat me to it - I was going to make the same comment! Hope that with all this pampering, you'll soon be feeling much better.
Love Buddy's card !
Thank you. The card made me laugh.

ReplyDeleteGappy birthday. The farmer is suffering from sinus too so I shall take on board your suggestion of inhaling and also Rachel's of oranges.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Menthol/steam inhalation is good but only seems to offer short term relief.
DeleteI think the smoked salmon, sushi and prosecco will do the trick!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly helped, I think it was the bubbles in the prosecco.
DeleteHappy Birthday you poor thing . Hate sinus infections so hope yours is only blocked by a cold. Those day and night cold and flu tablets seem to help to dry up those sinuses ...at least they work for me.
ReplyDeleteI always get sinus problems after a cold, horrid.
DeleteWas being sent through the soapy car wash your Birthday treat? Another probably nonsensical cold cure is to place a load of sliced Onions by your bedside. No, I didn't make it up!
ReplyDeleteIt was the most exciting thing to happen yesterday. I think I'll skip the onions!
