You can always pick out the tourists because they’re the ones looking upwards. I still get excited when I see brightly coloured birds flying about. Couldn’t resist this cheeky parrot teasing Buddy yesterday when we walked round the block.
No time to write much today. We are off out to partay.
I tend to think of Magpies as black and white Parrots; very few people agree with me.
ReplyDeleteYou just can't have a black and white parrot. It doesn't work. At least Australian magpies know how to sing.
DeleteLorikeets are great fun; I used to work with two dozen or so every day!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun job.
DeletePartay? Do I know about this?
ReplyDeleteYou'r not invited Paul. She found a jolly swagman.
DeleteI would also keep looking up to see such beautiful parrots.
ReplyDeleteI had to look up "partay"; so it means you're going to have fun...is Paul not invited? ;)
Greetings Maria x
He says it's not a party! I'll have to try and change that.
DeleteYou have a very happy life there.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun but I struggle to keep up with the young ones.
DeleteWish we had brightly coloured birds here but they are a bit scarce - wise enough to go somewhere warm.
ReplyDeletePheasants are quite colourful!
DeleteThese are my favourite Aussie birds - Rainbow Lorikeets. Cheeky, loud, always squabbling among themselves, great personalities and so pretty. They love to come to bird baths and bird feeders in suburban gardens too.
ReplyDeleteThey are loud aren't they, like noisy children. I just love their colours.
DeleteHave you ever checked out the wild parrot flock in the London area ?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was one but then I rarely go to London.
DeleteHave fun at the partay Sue. Stiff upper lip and all that dear.

ReplyDeleteThank you Vanessa. You will be very familiar with parrots in Puerto Rico.
