After a week of crawling around the floor and hammering in upholstery tacks (staples would have been easier but I like to do it the traditional way) the chair is finished.
I think I'm getting too old for this lark. Maybe I should take up knitting.
I thought your absence here meant it was taking a lot of time and work. I almost commented "haven't you finished that chair yet!" Only joking. It looks amazing. Well done for your patience.
Very impressive end result. Worth the struggles, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI'm quite pleased with how it turned out.
DeleteYour chair could be in a designer showroom. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteOooh, thank you.
DeleteGreat choice of material. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cro. I can't resist an animal print!
DeleteIt was worth the crawling! Looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteHaha, thank you.
DeleteSue, that looks so professional - well done, it's a marvellous addition to the room.
ReplyDeleteNo one is allowed to sit on it!
DeleteWhat - not even Rick?
DeleteAbsolutely not Rick! (He has his very own animal print chair.)
DeleteOh Sue!! It's so Classy looking! I love it!

ReplyDeleteIt did take a lot of my time. Now I have no excuse not to get on my bike in the gym. Sigh.
DeleteIt was worth it. Every time you see that chair you'll be able to smile and whisper to yourself - I did that!
