  2. Beautiful. The clay roof tiles and stone block construction is lovely. The enclosed garden is good size as well. Sarah must be very excited to have her own home. Decorating and customizing to her personal taste will be fun too.

    1. The construction is typical of the local vernacular.

  3. It is a beautiful cottage in a solid local fabric with a sound roof. One day if she ever wanted to set up home elsewhere in other circumstances it would no doubt make a wonderful holiday cottage. I love it. If I had seen it I would have wanted to buy it.

  5. I can see why you love it. It will be such a labour of love to get the inside how she wants it and have you both there to help over the years. I dont think that the garden is Rick-proof!

    1. The rear of the garden is fenced off and seems to be dog secure. Rick is not too sure about the Shetland pony in the adjoining paddock that wants to make friends though.

    1. It's going to take quite a lot of work and money but I think the end result will be worth it.

  9. What a handsome place - I like the stonework especially. Cottages are my favourite houses - which is why I live in one I guess!
