Feels Like Summer

Still here. A little pre-occupied and distracted at the moment but enjoying the summer.

  1. I wonder what you are pre-occupied and distracted about. Perhaps it's too private to share through your blog even though you have attracted much goodwill here.

    1. Just house-selling/buying stuff and life plan decisions. I'll get over it.

  3. It's warm enough to feel like summer, but it's cloudy and rainy every day. Your strawberries and cherries look heavenly.

  6. Too much long grass about at the moment, it's about time all the verges and paths were trimmed. If I had a tractor I'd do it myself.

    1. Nobody seems to be cutting the footpaths this year, it's really bad for dog walking.

  7. Every other grassy run between the vines is short and trim but the roadsides and tracks here are long and shaggy. Ted gets wet up to the gunwales as do the bottoms of my trousers. Beware grass seeds in ears and between toes - for the dog that is.

    2. We have to check his ears and toes very carefully, there are grass seeds everywhere right now. I saw a fox across the field last week, he was just standing there watching us.
