Sisters

Kat flies back to the UK this afternoon, Sarah sets off on her long journey home to Australia on Thursday.  The time together has passed all too quickly.  The goodbyes are always so painful, we are going to miss them.  Rick will miss them too, he instantly accepted them into the pack and absolutely adores them.

It has been wonderful watching the two sisters together, a magical and precious time for us.

  2. Rick will have to Skype them. Bok speaks to our children/grandchildren all the time, they love it.

  3. Lovely photos. Thank heaven for modern technology, bringing everyone closer together. Sarah won't be quite so far away as the £10 Poms were with one booked phone call at Christmas £25 for three minutes if you were lucky.

    1. I can't imagine what that was like for people then. Most didn't even have telephones in the house.

  4. Your daughters don't look like sisters. Possibly, one has more of Paul and the other has more of you. Nonetheless, they do look happy together... like best friends.

  5. I know you'll miss them. It's hard when our kids live so far from home. We get to see our daughter twice a year, we go to her once and she comes to us for Christmas. Breaks my heart when she gets on the plane to return to Japan.

  7. You all look so happy together, and will have sweet memories to share, that's the most important thing.
