Rick Goes To The Seaside

We decided to drive to the coast.  It was a bit damp and grey but we figured the beach would be empty because everyone else would be doing their Christmas shopping.

The beach at Anderby Creek was deserted, the tide was out and Rick had the time of his life racing after his ball. He loved it.  Sarah says she prefers the beaches in Australia.

  3. The beach looks fabulous. It was quite mild here today although I expect at the sea it would have been cooler. We had sunshine all day. Full Moon tonight.

    1. It was wonderfully empty. I was surprised how clean the beach was, no litter on the tide line, just lots of shells.

  4. Oh gosh Sue, how this brought back memories. When I was a child we used to have a caravan at Anderby Creek.

  6. Great to have an empty sandy beach on your doorstep. Really foul here yesterday; you were far better off on your beach!

  7. Did Rick need de-sand and saltifying? How close are you to this beach? Those shells also look so pretty.

    1. We went to the pub afterwards so Rick lost most if his sand when he was cuddling up to the barmaid. He was a bit taken with her generous cleavage.

  8. You still have the delights of Meggies, Skeggy and dear old Mablethorpe to come, then. We'll have you out on the mudflats picking samphire next year! I'm glad you enjoyed Anderby Creek, I like it, though maybe not in this rain and cold.

    1. We shall give the big resorts a miss, Rick doesn't like them. I'd love to find some samphire though.

  9. How on earth can Sarah prefer the beaches in Australia? I suspect that she was jesting. I love the picture of Paul with Rick and the way that they are reflected in the wet sand.
