Devil's Food

I made these cakes yesterday – Devil’s Food.  They are quite scrumptious but will probably end up in the bin because neither Paul nor I are lovers of rich, sweet, creamy cup cakes.  So why did I make them?  I found a packet mix when I was clearing out Kat’s flat so I couldn’t resist having a go.  It’s going to be a long winter.

  1. Don't throw them away! Give them to a neighbor or something...somebody will be happy to get them! I wish I lived next door. I'd happily take them off your hands.

    1. My neighbour, Lisa, is a cake making wizard. She would laugh herself silly at my pathetic little cakes!

  2. Love chocolate, but in small doses and not overly sweet.

    1. I love Cadbury's milk chocolate bars, cold straight out of the fridge.

  3. That's sacreligious to throw out perfectly good chocolate, in my opinion. Which is probably not the healthiest of opinions... -Jenn

  4. Hang on. I thought devil's food was burning embers, bones, bat stew and puppy dog tails - not delicious looking chocolate buns!

    1. I left out the bats and dog tails but they are still pretty wicked.
