The Men In My Life

Paul has had a bad back ever since we arrived in Oz.  It might have been due to the long flight or the fact that he thinks he can climb trees or clamber up ladders like a ten year old. He adopts this position in the afternoon to get some relief from the pain while listening to the likes of Donna Summer or Alicia Keys.

Buddy is not too keen on the music

I'm a sucker for big brown eyes

***********

Last night Sarah was on the telephone to her bank while I was speaking to Paul and she apologised for the disturbance saying “it’s just background noise”.  I’ve never been called that before.

  3. I have a very bad back. I find touching my toes a few times relieves it a bit. I believe that hanging from a ceiling mounted bar does the same, but I don't have one.

    1. I think Paul prefers to prop up bars rather than hang from them.

  4. Need to get that back fixed before the long flight home. Shame for him. Medication ?

  5. The way I relieve my bad back is to get on all fours and arch and lower like a cat - seems to work.Nothing worse than back pain, except perhaps toothache.

  6. The men in your life do not look too pleased with you for snapping those photos :)
I agree with Elaine nothing worse than toothache. I wish Paul gets better before his flight back, he needs to get onto his bicycle again.

    1. Paul was growling at me when I took the photos. We both need to get back on our bicycles.

  7. Has Paul picked up any other endearing 'looks' for the camera from Buddy?

  8. No idea except my brother always said the same as Cro suggests and he said it worked everytime.

    1. Touching his toes or hanging from the ceiling?

    2. The ceiling, or a beam, or anything enabling you to put your arms up above your head and hang from somewhere.
