Buddy

Let me introduce you to Buddy.  He is my daughter’s dog and the nearest I get to having a grandchild.  Sarah and Andy live in Sydney and adopted Buddy from a dog rescue centre a year ago.  He has a malformed front leg but gets around just fine.  Apparently he loves camping and going to the beach.  I am going to meet him when we go over to Oz in September.  Paul and I will be on dog sitting duty while Sarah and Andy go off to India for three weeks.  I’m going to spoil him rotten.

(Paul is on cooking duties today.  He did a poached egg and lardon salad for lunch and I got into trouble for dipping my bread into the lardon pan.  Wicked!  Tonight he is cooking a paella.  I love weekends.)

  1. Other than the bow, he looks like my type of dog. We used to have a dark version who also had a deformed front leg; I ran over him, or more accurately he run under me.

    1. I promise the bow tie only comes out on special occasions - Christmas and birthdays.

  3. I would have thought everyday is a weekend for you. I always imagined your daughter would be blond for some reason.

  4. I am always so pleased that people take their dog owning responsibilities and make proper arrangements while they are away. I can only hope that you will have a good 'overlap' and see your daughter & Andy for a good visit as well.
This should be interesting for us as your Here, There and Everywhere will be put to the test. That Buddy looks Grrreat.

    1. We will be in Oz for two and a half months so plenty of time to catch up with Sarah and Andy when they get back from India. I am sure there will be a few escapades to write about.
